NISV are non-toxic to BMDM and reduce LPS stimulated IL-6 production. 100,000 BMDM were plated per well in triplicate and stimulated with LPS at 3 µg/ml or media, in the controls, followed by treatment with NISV, MPG or DCP at descending concentrations with the controls untreated. A shows alamarBlue reduction by BMDM under these conditions and B shows IL-6 levels in the supernatants 24 h post-treatment.
