Accordingly, high-density (HD) and low-density (LD) granulocytes from 11 patients with sepsis and 14 with SIRS were analyzed. Panel (A) summarizes the cycle threshold (Ct) values for all measurements. Total granulocyte levels of CD63 and PLAC8 were referenced to CEACAM4 from the total granulocytes (B) and LD granulocyte levels to CEACAM4 from the HD fraction (C).
