Hydrogen Peroxide (H 2 O 2 ) production by monocytes obtained from peripheral blood of control subjects and patients before and after activation with different concentrations of tumoral necrosis factor -alpha (TNF-α). The results are expressed as mean ± SEM and derived from triplicate cultures of monocytes obtained from 10 patients and 10 control subjects. *p < 0.05 × Control (MCCC); #p < 0.05 × Patient (CTCM); + p < 0.05 × control subjects and patients in each group.
