IL-1β activates transcription factor NF-κB in CaCo-2 cells (5 × 10⁵ cells). The cells were treated with IL-1β (NOR (-), vehicle alone; CON (+), 10 ng/ml IL-1β) for 90 min and then immunoblot for NF-κB (pp65), TLR-4 and β-actin was performed.
